Between November 13th and 16th, TINT had the pleasure of hosting the first technical workshop of the PATRON MSCA project at the University of Ljubljana, focusing on the fundamentals of tribology.

On the opening day, the Doctoral Candidates (DCs) presented their research progress and received valuable feedback. This was followed by the General Assembly meeting. Over the next three days, the DCs participated in intensive training sessions covering a wide range of tribology topics – from surfaces and contact mechanics to lubricants and lubrication regimes. To bridge theory and practice, participants also engaged in hands-on laboratory training, gaining practical insights into tribological testing and analysis.
